Dal mese di Maggio si possono visitare con più libertà e meno restrizioni i siti museali.
Dal 1 Maggio infatti i visitatori possono accedere ai musei ed ai luoghi di cultura anche senza mascherina, che resta comunque fortemente raccomandata al chiuso ma è a discrezione di chi visita questi luoghi decidere se indossarla oppure no. È decaduto anche l’obbligo di presentazione e di controllo del Green Pass rafforzato.
La Torre di San Martino è visitabile tutti i giorni dal lunedì alla domenica, dalle 9 alle 12.30 e dalle 14.30 alle 19 con orario continuato la domenica ed i festivi.
La Rocca ed il Museo di Solferino sono aperti dal martedì alla domenica, dalle 9 alle 12.30 e dalle 14.30 alle 19. I bambini sotto gli undici anni hanno diritto all’accesso gratuito.
Riduzioni sui biglietti di ingresso sono previste anche per gli anziani sopra i 65 anni, per le comitive oltre i 10 partecipanti, per i possessori della Valeggio Card, per i soci del Touring Club, per gli insegnanti ed i giornalisti.
Il biglietto unico per i tre musei al costo di dieci euro ed il biglietto Solferino (5 euro) cumulano già tutte le riduzioni previste e non sono ulteriormente scontabili.
Lo scorso 8 maggio, rinnovando la tradizione degli scorsi anni, in occasione della Giornata mondiale della Croce rossa e Mezzaluna rossa istituita nell’anniversario della nascita di Henry Dunant, ideatore della Croce Rossa e primo Nobel per la Pace, la Rocca di Solferino è stata illuminata di rosso.
Il prossimo 29 maggio l’Istituto per la Guardia d’Onore alle Reali Tombe del Pantheon organizzerà all’Ossario ed al Memoriale della Croce Rossa di Solferino una cerimonia in ricordo di tutti i Caduti delle battaglie risorgimentali.

From May onwards, museum sites can be visited with more freedom and fewer restrictions.
As of May 1, visitors can enter museums and cultural sites without an anti-Covid mask, which is still strongly recommended indoors, but it is at the discretion of visitors to decide whether or not to wear one. The obligation to present and check the reinforced Green Pass has also lapsed.
The San Martino Tower can be visited every day from Monday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with continuous opening hours on Sundays and Public holidays.
The Rocca and the Museum of Solferino are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Children under eleven years of age have free admission.
Reductions on entrance tickets are also available for senior citizens over 65, groups of more than 10 participants, Valeggio Cardholders, Touring Club members, teachers and journalists.
The single ticket for the three museums for 10 (ten) euros and the Solferino ticket for 5 (five) euros already include all the reductions provided for and cannot be further discounted.
On May 8, in keeping with the tradition of previous years, the Rocca di Solferino was lit up in red on the occasion of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, the anniversary of the birth of Henry Dunant, founder of the Red Cross and first Nobel Peace Prize winner.
On May 29, the Institute for the Guard of Honour at the Royal Tombs of the Pantheon will organize a ceremony at the Ossuary and the Red Cross Memorial in Solferino in memory of all those who died in the battles of the Risorgimento.
